About Hagens Berman

Our Firm

Hagens Berman is a plaintiffs-focused law firm based out of Seattle, Washington with more than 50 attorneys in ten offices across the country. We have successfully battled corporate giants in antitrust, securities and consumer class-action cases. We have the resources to take on the largest corporations in the world, even those who have armies of skilled attorneys on their payroll.

Our firm has experience working with government officials and has prosecuted cases on behalf of states and municipalities who have suffered losses as a result of fraud. These working relationships we have built over the years help our credibility when presenting whistleblower cases to government agencies, including state attorney general offices.

Cases under the new securities whistleblower program will require attorneys with specialized knowledge and experience that only a securities law firm, such as Hagens Berman, has at its disposal. Whistleblowers should also consider that the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) receives hundreds of tips from whistleblowers and will only be able to act upon a small fraction of those claims. SEC whistleblowers must therefore present a well-developed and well-researched case if they hope to convince the SEC to prosecute their case.

Hagens Berman has a growing list of whistleblower victories including:

  • A case against an ambulance company that resulted in the second-largest recovery in the ambulance industry’s history.
  • Representation of a healthcare finance consultant who blew the whistle to recover millions of government dollars lost through Medicare Outlier fraud.
  • Representation of a defense industry employee whose company sold substandard gyroscopes for use in United States Air Force fighter jets.

Our firm also has a number of whistleblower cases currently under seal. These cases involve some of the largest corporations in the country and are currently being actively investigated by the government.
